But I am a developer – not an inventor is what you may be thinking. When we talk about innovation, it is not just the breakthrough innovations that matter. It is small incremental improvements that also need innovative thinking and help us succeed.

Outward success may come in steps but there has to be a continuous journey for it with learning as a key ingredient. Our education cannot end with college as the business world is constantly evolving requiring us to constantly learn new things, not just technically but also in the overall personal effectiveness sense.
Learning cannot happen if we sit back and expect that the company or anyone else will take responsibility and send us to different classes and certifications. Learning is not only about taking classes, it is a constant process of curiosity and engagement.
Many a times we say to ourselves – I will be creative at work but practically speaking does it make sense to be different at work than any other sphere of life.
Living life fully and with zest is a critical value at e-Zest (it’s even in our name). If one is lazy on weekends and does not engage in life through family, friends, and hobbies, they are likely to bring less than their best even to work.
People who are passionate about life are able to do a lot more in life with the same amount of time and hence for them ‘I don’t have time’ is never an excuse – they create time for life for what is important

Yes, you can do anything you want so long at is it not illegal, unprofessional or outright stupid. So I won’t get fired for listening to music at work or surfing social networking sites? Absolutely not. We are not concerned with how you spend your every minute at work. What we want you to be concerned about is the value you create for the client, the organization and yourself.
Rules create a culture where rules become a crutch and people stop applying their creativity. We would rather that we have people who take self-responsibility and make their own rules and guidelines aligned with the values of the company.
