We are looking for a BigCommerce Developer with 3+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Work independently to develop e-commerce sites on BigCommerce
- Strong knowledge of the BigCommerce platform
- An expertise in BigCommerce theme development and customization
- Extending BigCommerce functionalities to next level
- Should have experience on integrating third party and platform-supported apps in the sites
- Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in BigCommerce platform
- Should have experience on creating custom widget which is supported by BigCommerce platform
- Optimizing page speed of BigCommerce Sites
- Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in BigCommerce sites
- Working with version control systems such as GIT / SVN Working under tight deadlines Skills Requirements
Requirements
- An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6
- An expertise in JavaScript libraries (E.g.: jQuery)
- A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques and accessibility issues
