Payment card industry (PCI) compliance is adherence to a set of specific security standards that are developed to protect crucial card data i.e. card holder data and the sensitive authentication data during and after a financial transaction.
Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security requirements apply to all members, merchants, and service providers that store, process or transmit cardholder data.
