# Resource Usage and Billing optimization

Once you move your applications to AWS, you need to monitor the usage of your resources against requirement and the cost of “renting” these sources. You need to make sure your cloud infrastructure is giving you cost advantage of “renting IT infrastructure” vs “buying IT infrastructure”.
