We are looking for a Service Desk Technician with 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Support of ISS for Windows Server and the related activities to support web applications hosted including maintenance of infrastructure, monitoring, troubleshooting and vulnerability management
- Support of our Windows environment in Azure and on-premise, including VM server provisioning, encryption, and vulnerability management. This includes support of related services/solutions such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MECM
- Assist with the migration from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2019
- Support of Microsoft Defender on all Windows Servers
- Support of DevOps initiative including scripting of repetitive tasks and collaborative work with our development colleagues
- Support of Windows related projects including review of requirements, recommendations for solutions, and support of infrastructure related activities
- Support of day to day Windows Server operational tasks including review and action on appropriate client tickets
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Windows Server and the related functionality/components
- Degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience with the technologies listed in the support information above
- Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred
- Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN
