Their water management software needed improvements to achieve more crops per drop for farmers. They partnered with e-Zest to implement alert service in the application.

• The two main components of the alert services include:

• Alert Engine: To generate alerts based on reading.
• Notification Engine: To notify alerts to recipients through SMS, voice, e-mail etc.

• The vision was to improve the application product of the client by implementing an alert service that sends alerts to the farmers about the crops, requirements and dangers in the field.
  
  
• The discovery phase carried out by e-Zest team was very helpful in understanding the client's requirements as practically as possible. This gave us the clear picture of the solution architecture and possible business outcomes.
  
  
• We had identified Twilio as the platform for sending notifications over SMS, Phone. For email notifications, we decided to use Azure based SendGrid. We built PoCs for the client using Twilio and SendGrid to convince client about the usability of the systems.
  
  
• e-Zest delivered a project which was very useful for the client and their farming customers.
